logo design question?

I'm using photoshop to design logos and I'm having a problem with getting certain logos to drag onto my design from their own file. They only seem to be the ones that I get directly off of the net. I found a cow logo on logo server (I think). Anyway I try to drag from one window to the other and I get the sign that tells me I can't do it. Any way to get this logo from one to the other? Any help would be great! thanks.

One thing that can cause that is the image mode. Under the Image menu if the mode is set to Indexed Color, as many images off the internet are, I have had trouble draging layers to a new files. If this is the issue then just change the mode RBG color (in image menu -> mode) and you shouldn't have any trouble dragging the layer.
