TBCB Forum MMA tournament?

I'm thinking of running something similar with what javier did in the past (TBCB Forum tournament using TBCB) but this time it will be an MMA sim, and I'll be using the No Holds Barred simulator to sim the fights.

So I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in joining? I'm hoping to get alteast 12 people to join.

General Info:
  • This will be a 1 time tournament, and your stats will not be changing over the course of the tournament.
  • Before the start of the tournament, each participant will be fighting against 3 sparring partners in exibition matches. Being exibition matches, these will not count towards the records of the fighters. This is just to show everyone a small preview of what each fighter is capable of.
  • Fights will be done once a week (may change depending on my free time)
  • Everyone will fight each other twice in a double round robin format.
  • After the double round robin, the top __ fighters will then be fighting in a single elimination tournament to crown the first ever TBCB Forum MMA Champion.

Rules and Regulations:
  • For better enjoyment, please do not share with other people the stats/strategy of your fighters.
  • You can trash talk other fighters but please do not break the forum posting rules.
  • Changes to the fighting strategies must be sent in before the deadline (which is usually 1 day before the fight date).

Match Rules:
  • All matches will be fought under UFC rules.
  • Matches will be fought in three 5 minute rounds for the exibition matches and the round robin stages, and five 5 minute rounds for the tournament phase.

Scoring:
  • A win will be worth 3 points.
  • A draw is worth 1 point.
  • A loss is worth 0 points.
  • In case of ties, the tie breaker will be the total number of stoppages (KO/SUB/TKO/Ref stop).
  • If there are still ties, then they will fight a knock out match to determine who's get in.

Character Creation:
  • Everyone will have the same height (6'0) and weight (200), so that everyone will be fighting in the same division (Light-Heavyweight)
  • You are given 120 stat points to allocate to 17 different stat categories.
  • Stat points per category should be between 2 to 10 only. Your Toughness (TGH) stat will be given a +5 which will not count towards the cap.
  • You are given 100 strategy points to allocate per category. There are 5 strategy categories in total.
  • Please send me your name (firstname and surname) and stat/strategy distribution by PM.
