Auto Lineups?

I'm an OOTP5 player, so I'm not completely clueless, but I seem to be wasting alot of time on lineups and depth charts.

I started my first league, and on Jan 1st I set my lineups and depth charts. I also moved some guys between the majors and AAA. I simed a few days, and all the changes I made were changed -- seemingly by the AI.

So I changed everything again, and simmed out a month or so. Once again all of my edits were changed by the computer.

I am the manager of the team I am changing, and looking at the manager home page all of the Team Control Settings are set to me. I don't see any other option for the AI to control these settings.

Please help! How do I set things up so my lineup changes stay intact until I decide to change them???

Couple of places to start.

1: From League Setup bottom right hand corner of screen is Other Functions. Go in there and the bottom two functions will first not allow any AI to make any changes to rosters the other will allow AI to make changes only on computer run teams.

2: From the team Home page click Options & Ballpark on the left hand side of the screen you should find a check box that when checked will prevent the AI from making shcnges to the team. You MUST be playing in commissioner mode for this option to be there and you will need to do this for each and every team in your organization I believe.

Now having said all of this I believe there is an issue for some that this is not working. I cannot speak to this as I have not gone in and day to day managed yet to verify if these steps will prevent the AI from making roster/depth chart/lineup changes.

I have a rookie I drafter that I would like to have playing right now. His levels are competitive but there is a veteran who keeps getting placed into his spot. I am playing as GM, however he keeps getting replaced by the Veteran after 5-6 days of playing.

Is there anyway to stop this, short of trading the veteran hehe.
