If it were available everywhere! Including in other teams' geographic territories! Then it would be classified as a national contract! Which would mean that the team would have to split the money with the other 29 teams! Directv shouldnt black out games on turner south in rlaeigh! they dont black them out in greensboro! and the braves should move to orlando and play at disney and then they woudn't have to black out the turner south braves games in raleigh! and the braves should play every division 1 school each year in spring training!

I get WGN and TBS plus Sunshine Network and Florida Sports Network. So I get the Cubs/Whitesox, Braves, Devil Rays and Marlins all the time. I love it.

Sunshine Network is gone it's now Sun Sports!
WGN doesn't carry every Cubs,Bulls,Blackhawks and White Soxs games!
They should just rename Turner South Turner Sports!
If Turner South was a local network it could only be seen in Georiga on Cbale TV!

I will say it again..... Territorial rights are not decided by state lines. Whether or not a station is local or national is determined by whether or not it broadcasts outside of that team's territorial rights.... WHICH ARE NOT DECIDED BY STATE LINES. The country (in which there are 50 states, BTW) has been carved into 30 pieces by the Commissioner's Office, in conjunction with a few federal judges.
North Alabama, eastern Tennessee, and (I think) all of South Carolina are all part of the Braves territory. Florida and South Alabama belong to the Marlins and D-Rays. North Carolina, where I live, rather stupidly falls not under the Braves territory, but under the damn Orioles. It's all one big cluster****.

The lines can even overlap. Shreveport is in the territory of both the Rangers and the Astros, despite the fact that the majority of neither team's games is locally available. That made me a one year and out subscriber to Extra Innings, since both teams were blacked out.
