August 1st 1942 Update
The only exciting news for the month of July was a NO HITTER by Braves' rookie Preacher Roe. nothing much is happening over in the National League, as the New York Giants
are well ahead of the St Louis Cardinals. But over in the American League, the Boston Red Sox are creeping closer and closer to the St Louis Browns.

Record 33-73: Last Place 33.5 GB
The season is over for Bob Feller and the Senators. Feller succumbed to his third injury of the season and will not be back until next year. One bright spot was the 13-16 record in July.

September 1st 1942 Update
A good old fashioned pennant race is going on in the American League between St Louis and Philadelphia. Not so in the National League as the New York Giants are well ahead of
Brooklyn. Ted Williams is on another productive year to help the Giants. Red Sox Jimmie Foxx belted his 500th Home Run.

After a somewhat productive month of July, another month from hell. John Kelly leads the team with 6 wins
