Question from new player - try again
I really enjoy this game and have created a really cool league using my favorite teams from different years. I created a new schedule and played the first day of games yesterday (not sure how I managed this) and the results appear in the standings. However, the top of the page shows that today is opening day (April 5) but the schedule does not list any games today. Games are suppose to start on April 6. Dave Stieb pitched for the Jays yesterday and the schedule is showing the next pitcher in the rotation (Ojeda).
Is there some logic that I am missing? Can I adjust the schedule start date? Did I screw something up by playing the first day of the schedule early? Do I simply wait until tomorrow to play day two or can I move April 6 to today? Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks. Doug Last edited by dubwicht; 03-14-2015 at 02:14 PM. |

May have sorted this out
So I played todays games yesterday and that is why it shows that today is opening day and no games scheduled. Seems I will have to wait until tomorrow to play day two (patience! I want to play now). Starting to wrap my head around this game.
I am playing the 1982 season with the 1985 Blue Jays, the 1994 Expos and the 1989 Padres (historical replay in commissioner mode). I am also using the 1981 Brewers, the 1989 A's and the 1980 Angels. Love tinkering with the teams. Too bad you can't move players around. |

Great - thank you. There is a bit of a learning curve to this game.
I played two slates of games today and had a blast. San Diego and Houston are hot at 3-0. For me, the game is more fun than real baseball! I can create a league where my favorite teams are competitive. |
