We are really trying to raise the bar with this new team owner. Our motto this season in the OTBL is "no more mediocrity".
OK, actually that's just the motto of Fite Club which is looking for its first .500 season. GO Gear!!

Wow, what a coinsidance. I've been thinking about joining an online league, and now this OBTL has an opening that sounds like I'd be perfect for.
I would definitely be an 3l33t player, and plan on taking Austin from scrub to powerhouse, and I could probably do it in one season, two tops. I've been in a few local legues with my buddies, and I've won the world series EVERY SINGLE YEAR! I think that qualifies me much better than anybody who has applied - especially that Kenny fellow. I mean what does being a quarter back for your high school team have to do with playing OOTP? I'll go ahead and download the file and e-mail my roster to you tonight if that's OK, holyroller. I can't wait to get going! I'll also register on the league forum and start talking trades with the gang. I'm always on the lookout for good spects, so if anybody is willing to trade, IM me at DMacIsMyDawg. Edit: I just noticed that this league has fictional players in it, which is a real turnoff for me. I usually play with modern real-player leagues (my favorite teams to use are the Braves and Marlins), but I'll make an exception this one time to prove to myself that I'm the best owner out there.

I don't think that you should pick me, because I do not want to join. I am not hip and I have no hands. (I can change my avatar back if you need proof.)
I also have never posted anything in OT and would be fundamentally unable to grasp the entire OT concept. I may vote for Bush in the upcoming election just so that I can be considered a Republican and further unqualify myself. Please also consider that I have never created an alias, nor have I registered on the OTBL forum. Thank you for not considering me for the position.

I've just been thinking about people who actually have no hands - aren't computers discriminatory against them? I think that until our government spends $6.8 billion to ensure that all PCs are modified to comply with recent PWNH (People With No Hands) legislation, I would probably recommend suspending the operation of the OTBL so as not to make the league susceptible to lawsuits from PWNH.

you can talk to LL, you just can't talk about Fite Club.
...then again, what the hell do I know about Fite Club?
