Yeah, it is pretty obvious...
Take a look at Harden -- 22 years old and a 9 in ERA! http://mlb2.pc-sports.net/html/mlb2/p1939.html He was in Oak the season before, but no record of his trade or his amazing performance in 2003. Also, Christianson at 23 and a 7 in AVG! He could barely hit in AA (.256) the season before... http://mlb2.pc-sports.net/html/mlb2/p1718.html Funny stuff. Definitely not a subtle cheater...

Gotta love people who blatantly cheat and get caught. Even better when they try to cover their tracks but can't because it's so obvious they're cheating.

I find it suspiciously interesting that Merlin's team must use the same depth chart philosophy as the commish. Notice that all of their main position players are tired.
Merlin's Astros... http://mlb2.pc-sports.net/html/mlb2/team22.html Cheating Commish's Mariners... http://mlb2.pc-sports.net/html/mlb2/team13.html That's certainly interesting and would contradict Merlin's claim that he is a 15 year veteran of sim leagues since any veteran would have the presence of mind to figure out how a depth chart works. |

OK i knew something was up.. I am the Rangers in this league. I havent gotten really in the league to look into things much. But i do know that A Rod who is a 45 hr guy hardly hit anything and then once he was dealt his ratings increased and then there are alot of players ratings increased that i dont see in the roster sets i have. Now i have to think twice about being a part of this league. And if i would have paid attention to past things this moron did i would have never joined.

No one has mentioned the fact that Barry Bonds started with the Mariners. There is no mention of trades anywhere.http://mlb2.pc-sports.net/html/mlb2/p80.html
At least the commish is smart enough to make sure he won the world series. I would have been more pathetic if he didn't win it all. If you cheat you might as well go all the way.

Not only did he win the World Series, he won it an unprecidented three times in a single season. But if you've been playing long enough, you realize that there are always going to be people who put their own personal glory above that of the league. Which obviously is something a good commissioner should never do, considering the power at their disposal.
