Oops, guess you did not delete the thread where you changed the draft to serpentine. And you were right, you had the 29th pick, not the 30th pick. My bad.
http://www.ootp-leagues.com/mbs/wsbl...ad.php?tid=326[/URL] "[The serpentine draft] is also an encouragement/chance for those aging teams who have old players, to build up atleast a half decent farm system. I mean come on, my top player in my farm system is just horrible." - Braves owner/League Commissioner "You should really watch what you say, and stop crying." - Braves owner/League Commissioner Changed my mind, I do not want to join. |

A serpentine ammy draft? That's quite possibly the most ridiculous idea I've ever heard.
Nice to see you haven't changed from your days in the iMLB, JBlaze. Glad to see you run a league with the same tact and humility I've always seen you demonstrate. -John -Cooley's right...this *is* funny |

Only by luck, if I remember correctly the Braves were open around the same time!

what bothers me is this league is generating more interest than mine ever does.
Hey... Steve is a Braves fan, is he not? Hmm... really makes you think. |

If you took that ugly red-head off the front page, I'd join your league.

I would take him up on that offer Phil, Laura is hot, but we could use the owner.

nah. If someone is dumb enough not to join just because of that picture, I doubt they could be a very committed owner anyway. That's one of the purposes of the picture other than the obvious one.

ugh. I'm starting to feel ashamed to live in this city...
Please tell me you live in Scarborough. That would explain everything. |

interest
Crackpott I know you’ve heard all this before, but if I were in your league, I wouldn’t look at the home page except in private because my co-workers, friends, or family would think I was sitting concentrating on a picture of Laura Prepon clad scantily. I think she’s pretty, so it’s distracting as well. You say that you use the photo to screen out potential owners, then you castigate everyone whom it screens.
Turning down the opportunity to play in your league is not dumb, it’s just choices different than yours. |

I don't claim that turning down being in my league is dumb. That IS a preference. What I think is dumb is electing not to be in a league you'd otherwise be in because of what is on the front page.

well... I suppose that's a valid point. I just tell my girlfriend "It's for the league... it makes it more appealing."
