After the sale of Big Ed for 320k, the Condors are in position for a complete revitalization:
SE Votto was traded in for a shiny new SE Sisler at 1B Peak Arky was at a decent-ish deal at 55k, so he replaces Gehringer at 2B The jury is still out at 3B, but 89 Boggs is holding it down for now. Meanwhile, on the pitching front Tom Glavine was available for an insane deal of 40k, so he becomes the new staff ace (for now). One pitching upgrade is in the short term future, and another is in the longer term future. Still about another 200k in assets to play around with, so there's a lot left to do.

Sluggers Still Soaring in OL G360
Forgot to take note of the standings after April, so don't really know what the teams did in May.

Silver 253
Only one three game OL series yesterday so not much in the way of movement. In PT play O'Fallon played .630 ball to put themselves in the mix after a slow start.

and a general FYI... I'll be gone from 10/15-27, so someone else will need to pick up the calculations for standings the next two weeks

Armada Goes Full Throttle to Grab OL G360 Lead
Melaka steamed through a 12-3 sim to take over the lead, while the Southville Sluggers pounded out a 5-2 month as the two gained some separation from their chasers.

Pandas Punishing Play Provides Push to Pinnacle of OL D372
Pablo chewed up their opposition like tender bamboo shoots en route to 15-6 record and the lead in the OL standings. Annadale hung tough at 16-10, Virginia remained relevant at 11-7, Boogie maintained their momentum at 9-6, and Roncalli rolled at a 19-7 pace to climb into contention.

Silver 253 Update
Reno takes the lead in OL play given Northeast Corridor won't reach 10 OL games. In PL play Reno and O'Fallon are in an AC East that features all teams over .500.

Might train some bronze/silver players on Bunnies
So my Bunnies, at fifteen games under .500 for the season, aren't going anywhere this year. I have a large number of bronze/silver players that I have collected on my reserve & inactive roster for when tourneys start up, but I need to train some of them at other positions (for example, Carew (68) needs to be trained at 1B)
Would anybody report me if I moved some of these to my active roster to train them up for remainder of season? This would just be position players (pitchers don't need to cross-train) It is not an attempt to tank, I promise.

did the same not long ago (at the Perfect tier).... brought up two players at a time (one IF / one OF) and plugged them into the starting lineup to train up around the field.... had minimal impact to how I fared in the standings, didn't end up handing out wins/points to anyone, and they actually out-performed some of my regulars (not sure if I should be happy or annoyed about that ) course, over a month later and still no tourneys, so might have been an exercise in futility |

I will often plug players in a training position at the start and end of a season and I don't even worry if anyone else thinks I'm tanking.

Pandas' Perfect Play Keeps them Atop OL D372
Pablo ripped through the sim at 11-0 to stay in first. Jazzy, 15-7, Asylum, 13-6, Annandale, 11-6, and Boogie also played solid ball to stay in the hunt.

Silver Update
Reno puts some space between them and the rest of the pack and will be crowned the the champion Sunday Morning.
In PT play Jefferson Valley had a 21-5 July to take 7.5 game lead in the NC West. O'Fallon and Reno are within striking distance in the tough NC East. Reno is holding down the 2nd WC spot but the lead is slim, .5 games over Rebecca City with O'Fallon 1 game back. At 71-34 Nico-Nico is running away with the AC West while Northeast Corridor is in a dead heat for the second WC spot, 2.5 games off the pace for the first WC. Sluggers Still Solidly in Front in OL G360
Although Southside played .500 ball in the sim, they still command the crown chase. Redmond had the best day, at 8-3, with Tacoma, 7-5, and Terra Incognita, 9-6, showing positive results.

This is a historic moment...the New York Patriots are finally going to be relegated this week. They did an admirable job of hanging on in diamond for as long as they did, but zero luck and zero points mean they cannot improve on their woeful pitching situation, and thus have wasted everyone's time by existing as a horrible team at this level.
My planning from here is to see how far I can go with a sell-off and go back down to the lower levels for awhile. Expect the Patriots to nosedive down the leagues as they undergo a full-fledged rebuild. As for Steelport...this is a lost campaign, but the eyes are on next week as I sold a horribly underperforming Koufax for 80k, and while resulting packs brought me 89 Wade Boggs, I have 40k left over and I have a deal in place to buy a replacement.

What would the level between Diamond and Perfect be called? Perfect Diamond? ImPerfect?
Whatever it is, I think Harlem and Clyde could live there. As it is, they seem to be stuck on the Diamond-Perfect Yo-yo. This week, it's Clyde's turn to stink up the Perfect Division. (And the way it's going, Harlem is going to stick around in Diamond to greet them.)
