OOTP Save Question

Hey everyone, I just had a question about OOTP and was hoping someone could help. I pre-ordered my copy of the game a few weeks ago. I'm getting a laptop soon and I'm going away to Graduate School on July 1st. Obviously I'm not leaving the game alone until July 1st but I probably won't have the laptop until just before then.

What I would like to know is can I transfer the save from my desktop computer to my laptop computer and continue the game from there? Thanks in advance for your time.

Yes just copy your .lg folder which is in your saved games folder to your new computer and you will be good to go. You will have to redownload your Add-Ons such as uni's and ballparks and things like that or you can copy their folders too.

Okay so I can just copy everything and put it on the new computer? That's awesome, thanks.

Just to be clear you need to install OOTP on the laptop when you get it. Then copy your league files over.

Okay and I can install the game on both my desktop and laptop without a problem I assume.

Yes. You get two licenses with purchase. Should you ever need to install it on a 3rd computer (say, one comp crashes out completely and you have to buy a new one), you can email eSellerate (I think) to get one of them released.

You can also release the license in-game if you know you need to. If selling the computer and getting a new one for example.
