serial number reset/tutorial??

Hey if something happens to my computer and I have to reformat or it crashes, and I have to re-install the game from scratch again, can I still use the same product code? Some games require you to "deactivate" the code if you, for example, want to move the game from one PC to another, so they know people arent just giving the serial to a friend to use as well.

So I was curious if this game operates the same way? If my computer crashes can I come right back with the same serial, or would I have to contact customer support and tell them my computer crashed, would they reset it for me?

also, is their like a really advanced manual for OOTP 13? I found the one the game offers i believe but its not very in depth, if all the versions are somewhat the same is their like a master tutorial or book???

There is some sort of mechanism by which the game stores the serial number on your computer so that if it has to be re-installed, you usually don't even have to enter it again. If you do, you use the same code. The game uses the Internet to track how many computers you have registered and activated, a limit of two. That is why, if you ever want to move an installation to another computer, you need to go to Game, Preferences, License, and unlicense the game first.

Besides the in-game help that you access by pressing F1 or by clicking the question mark on the top right, there is an online manual. It is one of the menu items under the question mark or go here: Out of the Park Baseball Manual

I have to say that they both need work: In-game help or on-line manual. But of the two, I would say the on-line manual is better.

You can also free up the missing license by contacting eSellerate, which might come in handy:
