After I create the 1993 season, I try to import that file into the whitesox folder and I can not see the prk file in the editor. What am I doing wrong???????????????
- Download the parks you want.
- Unzip and place in your ballparks\models folder. When viewing your models folder, you should now have subfolders named (for example) "Angel_Stadium_1988-1999_v1_4", "Arlington_Stadium_1985-1993_v1_4", etc.
- Launch OOTP and continue your league.
- Go to the Angels page, and click on Team Options (last icon, bottom right).
- Click "Edit Ballpark", then "3D Model".
- Click "Load New 3D Model", then navigate to "Angel_Stadium_1988-1999_v1_4", and select "angel_stadium_1988.obj".

Done. Now just repeat that for the rest of the teams.

YEA, I finally got it. The problem was figuring out how to navigate through all the files using the file editor. After that it was easy. Thank a lot for your help.

They can be downloaded here:

http://www.mediafire.com/folder/akd2ejkdtk4dx/Historic

Each park also has a .prk file which can be used to import the park's information in the game's edit ballpark screen (under the 'Actions" menu)

The import seems to work flawlessly provided that the park folders are placed in the game's ballarks/models folder.

I have logged an issue where it doesn't seem to import the diagram image correctly, but you can just load it manually.

I will periodically update these parks so check back often. I'll try to post more detail as I complete them in this thread.

Thanks to adion for his help with this project
Hi Silvam,

First off a HUGE thank you to you and Adion for these parks!! I play historical replays and mostly Deadball through the 1940s.

Second, the stupid question. Where do I install these? I've looked for a ballparks\models directory in the default program location, AppData Local, Local Low, and Roaming and could find a ballparks\models folder.

My 1909 Bucs are anxious to move in to Forbes Field.

Best,
"Beatles"

I added that in my post. Thanks for responding. I still have NO clue where this directory is located. I did a recommended install of OOTP to C:\Program Files (x86) ...

Thanks again! I'll fix my post so that stands out.

If you import the prk file, you will get all of the files imported and the 2d pics and ball locations as well, and finally the park factors and park info gets imported that way as well

When I play the game, I do have the game being played in the historical park, like Shea stradium, three rivers, jarry etc. That means I have everything correct?

1. Download the .rar file of a stadium
2. Open it using winrar (or whatever program you use)
3. Drag the entire folder into your “/ballparks/models” folder
4. In the game, go to park editor
5 find the stadium of the team you want to change.
6 under the “Actions” menu, select “Manually import park from a file”
7 navigate to the park folder in /ballparks/models
8 select the .prk file

That should do it

Can I omit the .obj file selection then, if using the manual import park option then? I was thinking I had to do both. Am I making this too hard?

It seems there is a need for step by step instruction with visual aides. I’ll try to work on something soon.

Ive noted step by step instructions in other threads in the mods forum

If you import the .prk file. You should not have to do anything else.

If you are not seeing the 3D model after importing the .prk file, you should then manually load the .obj

You don't do anything with them. If the park folder is directly in the Models folder you go to the edit park section and select dodgers then go to the actions box on the upper right and open that. Select Manually import data from a park file and when the list comes up open the Dodger folder then select the. prk file and let it import. That will give you all you need. If you want adjust the 3D view do that by opening the 3D Model tab.
