just want to say thanks.

for another great game, unmatched support & endless hours of enjoyment in both my game world & on the forums. the OOTP team & community really do an amazing job.

I've spent the last few days pointing out bugs, making suggestions, etc, that I felt I should also show love & appreciation for my favorite game. I'm still blown away every year.

pre-ordering & being part of the beta release also makes me feel part of the process. over the years there have been a handful of suggestions/annoyances (complaint too strong a word) & they have almost always been fixed. not just during beta, but throughout the year. I can't imagine the work that must take for such a deep, immersive game.

the OOTP team is not only open to suggestions, they want them. thank you.

I now look forward to OOTP release day almost as much as opening day itself. here's to another great year & the GOAT of baseball sims.

I am sure those sentiments echo the rest of the OOTP community...

I was about to post a similar thread. Feel kinda bad that my first three posts here in the forums were "helpful" complaints in the bugs forum. I've been playing OOTP for about a year. Grew up playing Statis Pro, and OOTP has been like a blast from the past for me that quickly left the past in the dust and has become my new hobby. To say I love the game is a profound understatement. Thank you!

i was showing my daughter's boyfriend the game last week (he's a sort of game techie - but not into baseball at all). he was blown away by the depth and versatility of the game. i had to tell him, that was just the sim part - i didn't go into other parts like PBP or 3D since i don't use them. Too bad he's not a baseball guy, or i think he'd be ordering a copy. yep, even with all the asking for changes for this and that - informing Markus this doesn't work right or that isn't historically correct, it's a pretty amazing game.
