Question OOTP without admin rights?

Hi all!

Iím thinking about installing OOTP on my work managed Surface pro for next season. Does anyone know if itís achievable without having admin rights? GPO prevents regular users (me) from installing stuff.

they will know, if just a modicum of competence, that you've installed something or even run a game or even an app they didn't install.

is this a danger to your employment? lol.

you could try intalling to a flash drive then, running from that? again, they can see everythign you boot up with no problem, if they wish, and likely logged, if they are serious about preventing wasteful use of their resources.

i don't say that as a back-handed comment. i can rationalize all sorts of contexts that would allow for me to play games at work without a second thought

i don't want to suggest something that gets you fired. that's my only concern.

there are things you can do... you can change the name of the process as it is run to mimic a known process etc... maybe a virtual machine could help? lol.

i think the portable flash drive is the way to go... if ootp won't allow you to install it ona removeable drive, there may be a workaround to that too.. you can trick the OS into thinking it is a non-removeable drive with a regedit, i believe. have to mimic the windows user directores and appdata path etc too, probably... not a problem if relative, but a big problem if pointers from registry or something. i doubt you ahve rights to edit registry on your workstation pc.
