Please Cast your Vote for my Cy Young Debate.
Having a hard time deciding who should win the Cy Young award and i would like to get some feedback. Not really familiar with how to set up a "Poll" so i just copied 3 photo's instead for you to choose from.
Starting from the left to right will be: Player 1, Player 2 or Player 3. I was leaning more so to Player 2 just because i feel he was more dominate even though he doesn't have as many wins (A La King Felix). Not a big believer that the person with the most "Wins" should win the award. Thanks for your feedback!!!! |

Player 3...Has the Wins, leads in K's/9, WHIP under 1, and decent ERA.

Player 3 -- it seems fashionable to be prejudiced against high win totals.

I don't even get how there's any competition to player 2. It's definitely him. It's sorta like Kershaw vs. Scherzer (player 2 vs. player 3).

Wins matter to me, I'd choose player 3.
Since they don't to you, it's player 2. |

I'd go Player 3 in this one. Wins obviously shouldn't be the deciding factor for a Cy Young vote, but 7 more wins over player 2 is a substantial amount. The deciding factor for me is the IP, the guy went over 7 innings per start.

Can we see the run support per game that each pitcher got? I think it's under one of the expanded stats as rs/g.

Because wins are near worthless at least in my opinion (though I will respect yours). Tell me what's good about high win totals, the team offense? I mean, I guess it means the pitcher kept the team in games, but it shows more about the offense than the pitcher at least to me.
