Can a custom schedule prevent an uneven numbered team league from crashing
I was curious about this. The real AZL has 11 teams. OOTP cut out the Royals since they have 3 rookie teams. Normally OOTP would report an error that a schedule could not be generated but if you have a XML schedule that is for one sub league with 2 divisions one with 5 teams and one with 6 can you bypass this. I was thinking of making a file with the real AZL schedule and seeing if it would work. This would be a lot of work just to get the error though. Does anyone know if this is possible?

It is possible yes. One of my solo universes has a 7-team league with a custom-made schedule, and it works just fine.

Yes, a custom schedule will prevent the league from crashing, however when you create the league initially, you have to create it with an even number of teams. That's because the OOTP schedule generator runs on league creation. Once you've created your league with an even number of teams, then go into league setup and modify the league structure to the uneven number. Then build/load your custom schedule. As long as the league structure stays the same and your want to keep using the same schedule, you can play more seasons with no problems.
