I have two teams on one account in today's postseasons PT19 and PT20.


Because I get this message on 99.9% of login attempts, I can't view my postseason results of make necessary lineup changes for as long as 90 minutes at a time. I have heard on the forum that at least one other user is having this issue, but I'm not sure if it's widespread. I would have expected more complaints if so? I assume that there are server issues going on, but only hear crickets from the devs.

Since I can't check my teams or make changes, all I can do is complain here.

Does that make me a jerk? Or some less flattering term? Or do I have a right to expect better customer service from a company that has accepted large amounts of money from me in return for providing a service?

Time for OOTP to start providing live customer support. If not 24/7, then at least in the postseason periods.

The product is great when it works (although there are too many bugs and too little emphasis on fixing them.) But the customer support is really, really, really lacking.

I might still spend a little money on PT21... I enjoy the game a lot when it works. But devs, don't expect the kind of money you've received from me over the last two years to continue, unless and until you promise and deliver more responsiveness when issues come up.

I should be spending my Sunday tweaking my team's lineup for each new starting pitcher they face in the postseason. Not fuming at my inability to get your software to load, with no one to help, being forced to leave messages that, frankly, I'm almost embarassed to leave.

Honestly, I'm a nice guy. Not a jerk. I understand that software companies are a challenge. That things go wrong. That you can't please everyone. But seriously, I've observed a pattern over two years of really, really poor attention to known issues in the software, in favor of adding improvements. And a pattern of slow responsiveness to customer complaints, to the point where responses are often not forthcoming until after the issue is over. After two years of this, I'm simply out of patience.

Was able to log in once since Monday last week. Pls fix.

edit: it's sad that no devs respond about this. Had to change my Steam review, PT was promised to be up for 2 years and I can't play it for almost 2 weeks now. Very disappointed about this.
