Worst Team Ever?
This might be the worst team I've ever seen in OOTP. Everything seemed to go sideways. Ugh.

I was reaching for a positive spin, but my arms aren't that long.

Yes. I've had a few of those 1,000 runs allowed seasons unfortunately. My league was just starting to balance out, and then it seemed like all the good/great hitters (including Babe Ruth) went to the American League, and whomp!!! Overall numbers look half decent but I've now had a 126-win team (Tigers) and a 127-loss team in less than 25 years. It is much better than it was when I was monkeying around with injury/fatigue settings and trashing pitchers everywhere leading to super-offenses. Oh well, live and learn. Normal injuries/Average fatigue for me now.

0-50 Whoa! That would be a loooong season, allowing over 20 runs per game.

No wonder the real team folded with a record of 0-11.

For what its worth a bad team in the 19th century just doesn't compare to having a really bad team in the modern age.
A lot of those stats are probably because the game had to have somebody pitch. If you have Old Hoss Radbourn go 0-42 then you have a really bad team. In those days they might just have a position player pitch or even better just sign a guy from a local team. |

Yeah, since the team are build via an expension draft in 1872 and the team have few players the pitchers are protected. So no player in that Washington team have a pitching rating...
If there is a way to use the correct team for the correct year AND load the rookie players I haven't found it... if you choose to not automatically expand league the result is no new players at the end of a season... and no way I'll add every players by myself manually from 1872 to 1900. So I must skip the 19th century again since one way or another it doesn't work... if you use the current structure you have a free agent problem because the team run out of cash.

As for manually adding free agents and releasing players, it doesn't really take that long for me to do it anymore. I just use a spreadsheet i have. Anyway I started last week and have skimmed from 1871-1883 so far. |

I once saw a team go 10-134 in a fictional league, but that's the worst I've ever seen in historical.

If you are trying to use the teams as in real life there is an easier way than changing the league structure and manually adding and removing teams. Though you do have to setup the first season after creating a league. |

Back on Hardball 3 i had a team win 9 games all season. i tried duplicating that on OOTP but they ended up winning 65 or so. The team is part of my EBL vs MLB league. The season was 2023 or so.

I just did 1873 and the results were quite interesting (not like real life since I simulate with a low injury rating), but the Resolutes and the Baltimore Maryland got exactly the same win and loose ratio

I assign all the players to their real team, at least some of the rookies go to the right team when it played the previous season.
For the team, I work arround what OOTP load after the season and I add and delete what is incorrect... of couse I move them to the right league too. I have an empty AL for when it will appear (I use it for Chicago in 72 and 73 when the franchise is on hiatus).
