Pitcher with 79 Power, 68 Gap, 73 Avoid Ks...safe to use as pinch hitter?

I have a ton of money free for the next several years so I went out and signed the marquee free agent pitcher, and just happened to notice his batting ratings today...is there any downside to using this guy as a pinch hitter?

This is a league I started in 2013, it's about 2034 now, there's DHs in both leagues at this point...so it's not like this is 1920 when pitchers were average hitters. I'm completely shocked. His rating as a 3B is actually 58 lol

I have used Josh Beckett as a pinch hitter in extra-inning games for lack of better options.

I'd hate to have a ace pitcher hurt himself on the bases or at the plate while pinch-hitting, pinch-running or DH-ing.

yeah I'm thinking the same thing. So I scoured the league and found another pitcher, who's good, but not great. He projects as 79 in RF, 80 in LF!

Use him as a pinch hitter. How often COULD he get injured. A few years back I carried a few starters who could bat low 200's. It helped quite a bit.

He'd probably hit something like .250/.300/.475 as an everyday player?
