Possible to dump fictional players blocked from majors into independent league?
In historical leagues, you have option to fill empty minor league spots with fictional players and to block them from reaching the majors. Since these players eventually have nowhere to go, I was wondering if it's possible to funnel these players into a fictional independent league of some kind, just for the heck of it?
I typically play with ghost players, but I was thinking of using fictional players in the minors. Any options on whether the historical/fictional minors mix a good idea or not? |

FWIW, I run a historical fictional league, meaning it follows the history of MLB but had fictional players, and somehow when I added a minor league I clicked the check boxes that imports historical players as free agent rookies, and so for one offseason, a few real players got injected into my league, and they flat out dominated, because they had ratings that were just off the charts with relation to the rest of my league. Granted these guys were star players anyway, but they were even more dominate than they should have been because they have ratings that were not derived in the same way as my fictional players, so from my experience, they don't jive very well.
