Expanded player info boxes in game

I'm sure some of you have noticed that the current season's stat line was removed from the expanded in game player info boxes. Used to be listed right below the career line above real. For the most part, this doesn't bother me, but I do miss seeing how many saves a relief pitcher has for the current season.

Hmm I still see it at the top? Or are you saying it also used to appear on top and in the middle with the others?

Yeah it was in the middle too. But the middle has more categories than the line at the top, hence he is losing "saves" for pitchers and you lose "BB" for hitters (not sure if you lose anything else).

I would love it if these boxes were customizable. I hate that the handedness splits are shown for the current matchup only and not both righty and lefty. I'd much rather have this than a batters average against a first pitch.

Yeah customizable stat boxes would be really nice. I'd prefer to have the second season line rather than the monthly.

Haven't played a post season yet, but I'm really hoping we can finally see a players stats for the just finished season. Always seems strange to get to the post season and you have to open a players card to see how he did during the regular season.

Personally, I would have loved for the current season to remain and REAL be deleted. But, customizable is the best option by far.

I noticed the change as well ... when I saw it I figured OOTP wanted to get rid of that line for an unknown reason so I didn't bother to mention it but glad to see that a few of us has noticed

I agree. I brought this up also.

They did reinstate some stuff (at one point they had deleted several other lines, including L/R splits). I thanked them for putting those back (notice one is L/R splits on a career basis (the pitcher I think) and the other is on the current season basis, so hopefully they just haven't gotten to that yet and will still completely reinstate it. I did ask if they could reinstate to how it was in the last version.

I think maybe they were trying to shrink the box at one point while developing the 3D field. I play out games and would rather have "clunky boxes" in return for many stat lines - the more the better for me so I don't have to mouse interact to check a player's stats during a game. Of course, as was said earlier in this thread, being able to customize it would be great.

Oh hell, you just made me feel like a total boob. I forgot completely about being able to use the "mouse over" method now. Still say customizable is the way to go, but at least I now know how to see what I want.

But, unfortunately, the mouse over only shows high-level stats. I still like that addition, but the fewer times I have to use the mouse the better, so I like having as many lines as possible in the expanded info box.
