Timing of Importing a League

With the great annual anticipation of the new version I wanted to pose the question that has come up several times in the past

At what point in the season of a save is it best to import into a new version? Does it really matter?

I currently have a several year fictional league that I am just approaching the June draft in. By the time the game releases I expect I’ll still be in June

While I know upon release of OOTP20, I would likely wait for a period of time before attempting to allow a patch or two to be implemented, I am trying to figure out if I should hammer down in Ootp19 to try and get my league to a certain date or just rock on as usual and import when I feel comfortable with the new version

most would say during the off season. Some would say it really doesn't matter a hill of beans. I happen to be the one that does it in offseason as I would take a couple weeks vacation from it when season is done and come back to next version with gusto
