Can you upload that save? This seems to be something that occasionally happens when a junior league is set to nonplayable, but we're not sure why. It may give us some idea if we can have a look at the guy.

Yeah, that's the bug I was thinking of, I see some other players in the WHL in the save who have the same problem. And there are enough of them that I can see a pattern: it looks like it's an issue with NHL-contracted players in a CHL league that's not set to playable. That should be enough to let us find the bug that's causing it.
