Player mysteriously switched teams
League file: AmericanBaseballLegion.lg
This is an online league. Recently, we had a sim in which we entered the first day of Spring Training. When we entered ST, star reliever Michael Feliz suddenly switched teams from the New York Yankees to the Houston Astros. Not sure if this is a bug, but I'm very confused by how this happened. - This was mid-sim, so I don't see how it could be a GM/export issue. - Feliz was not a Rule 5 pick. He was a veteran (4+ years pro experience). - He was not put on waivers or DFAed. Image of the transaction is shown below. Not wording I'm used to seeing, as well: Thank you for any ideas/help you can provide. Best, Aaron |

Did the GMs select DO Not Disturb in their manager options or did they delegate any managerial authority to the Ai in GM options?

Did this happen on the first day of the sim?
Did both of the Gms have their GM profile password protected? Is the Commissioner account password protected? Does anyone have access to the commissioner account? Does it say the players were traded anywhere? That seems very strange. Were there trades processed, then the teams were imported, then the sim was run? I have made this mistake and it messed up rosters.

Feliz has had a history of this kind of thing in this league. I was the Astros owner at the beginning, and he was sent to Philadelphia in a trade, but Mike Fiers was supposed to be sent. When looking at the history, you can see he was trade and traded back to Houston to correct it. Later, it looks like Philadelphia traded him to New York, even though there is no record of him leaving Houston a second time.

Yes, it is true, Feliz's player history is quite strange in this league. Not exactly sure how he got back to Philadelphia before heading to New York in a legitimate trade. Thanks for the info. I might just be a weird quirk in our league. |

My guess (haven't loaded the file to verify) is that somehow his ID got duplicated with someone else in the league's (or it got off by 1 somehow internally), so when you occasionally get a transaction meant for someone else, it affects him instead. You could try cloning him to a new player and deleting the old one to see if that works.

Just to cover all the bases, did this league start as historical?
