FTP Setup - MODE Z
I have an FTP server running Ubuntu 14.04.5 LTS. I've set up the FTP using VSFTPD and I'm able to access it from FTP software such as FileZilla.
When attempting to connect to it from OOTP18, I get an error saying that the path is correct, but OOTP cannot upload a file and to check the folder permissions. The folder permissions are fine. When I ran an FTP trace, I found the issue is that OOTP is trying to use "MODE Z" in the transfer, which isn't supported by all FTP hosting software: 220 (vsFTPd 3.0.2) USER ootp 331 Please specify the password. PASS **** 230 Login successful. TYPE I 200 Switching to Binary mode. SYST 215 UNIX Type: L8 FEAT 211-Features: EPRT EPSV MDTM PASV REST STREAM SIZE TVFS UTF8 211 End OPTS UTF8 ON 200 Always in UTF8 mode. MODE Z 504 Bad MODE command. CWD /var/ftp/pub/turboerndouggie/ 250 Directory successfully changed. |
