default save folder - MAC
I reset the default save folder before realizing I needed to move files out of it.
now I have files "lost" on the hard drive. can't seem to locate them using spotlight. anyone out there with a Mac version care to look inside the game and let me know the default setup? thanks. |

/Users/your username/Library/Application Support/Out of the Park Developments
This location by default is hidden, so you'll need to unhide files to see it (google if you don't know how) |

I still think the files are in a weird spot anyway, why can't they just be put in my documents folder like OOTP 9,10,11, and 13? Only OOTP 12 and 14 put them in the "Application Support." |

If you're looking for the OOTPv15 "documents" folder, it's in your {user folder}/Library/Application Support/Out of the Park Developments folder.
To get to your user's Library folder, select the "Go" menu and press the Option key. The Library folder will appear. Select it. |

Go to spotlight. Search for OOTP Developments. Click on "All My Files". Where it says "Kind" click and select "System Files". On the right it should say "aren't included", select "are included".
I believe this is how I found them.

The developers said that Apple required this change although I have no idea why. In other words, the developers wouldn't have moved them to a hidden folder if they didn't have to.

The Option/Go/Library thing didn't work?
I run on a Mac and that is where they are for me.

Time has passed, so people may have worked it out now.
When you go to load a saved game, there's an option to open the folder in which the saved-game files are stored. Just navigate back one window in that Finder screen to the root folder for the saved games and you can do what you need from there. Personally, I copy the files between my laptop and desktop, depending on where I want to continue the game from. |
