I'll post them in a bit if you do. Once you've done this and saved the files, go back into your game, to the same spot where you exported the files from. Just above the Export Stats button, you'll see an Import Stats button. Click it. When it asks 'are you sure?' say yes. That's it, your stats will be updated in game! I just started a new game twice in version 14.1 build 4 to check and mine had Danks on a minor league deal each time. That's strange. I don't really know what the problem might be.

Tycobbler - I had an issue during beta testing where new patches would overwrite my game correctly, but wouldn't overwrite the roster file correctly. So I'd get game updates but still have an outdated version of the MLB quickstart. That was an issue specific to Mac installations, and the issue was fixed before OOTP was released, but if that's the issue you're having as well, it will have something to do with an installation error on your specific operating system. It would first be useful to find out if anyone else has the same error, so we can ascertain if there is a problem with specific versions of Windows, or if the issue is unique to you. But if it is a bug with the installer, you'll probably need to file a bug report.
And I think in past years, the roster file has usually also been released as a file separate from the game; it's just a Quickstart, after all, so you can obtain it separately and drop it in your Quickstart folder and use it as long as the filename is right. I don't know when or even if that will be done officially this year, but it would also solve your issue. |

Thanks injury log. I figure its a roster thing where for some odd reason isnt being overwritten with the patch. But I did uninstall the game removing every folder I can find then a fresh install from the forum link. At a loss as to why with a fresh install PC Windows 7 that I get the old roster set if you will.

Minor issue here, but something that was in the OOTP13 roster set and is back in the 14 version.
Jose Constanza of the Braves is listed as a switch hitter but is strictly a LH hitter. |

Minor League Team Location Error
If this is the wrong place to post this, please point me in the right direction.
I suspect this is data from the game but it could be an error in the All In One Mod - again, please point me in the right direction. In my game I am currently managing the Peoria Chiefs. They are listed in the wrong town. The game has them in Peoria, Arizona. They are in Peoria, Illinois. I double checked their website to be sure. About the Chiefs | Peoria Chiefs About Story of Baseball in Peoria Peoria, Illinois has a rich history of sports and athletic teams. One of the most prominent sports has been baseball, more precisely Peoria Chiefs baseball. Also, the Time Zone is off but perhaps fixing the city will fix that.

I'm not sure if this is something that belongs in this thread, but it is an issue that has been present within the MLB Quickstart for some years now.
The minor league statistics are extremely inflated compared to their real life counterparts. For instance, AAA having a league average OPS of over .800 when in 2012 only a couple AAA teams had over an .800 OPS. This may not be something that can be balanced and still have the players be on the correct spot in their development, but I was wondering if it had been looked at/messed with. |
