Rookies in Historical Exhibition

I'm trying to run a historical exhibition and players from both teams are all rookies. It doesn't matter the year, or the teams. Every single player is the age they were when they debuted. Is this an easy fix or is something really wrong?

The ages in historical exhibition are pretty borked. The should be fixed for OOTP19, but I don't think there's an easy fix for 18.
