Bug: My league has a ghost "A" Minor League that can't be accessed

Issue: There is a ghost League that I can assign players to but not access in any other way. I can only access the league by clicking on the team name on the player. But I cannot access any admin settings.

Info: Was started with the MLB+Feeder template on this site. Never had any issues with it. I decided to delete some of the minor leagues for the MLB and recreate a new fictional one for easier tracking. I never created an A level league. There are now some ghost leagues I can't get rid of. I can assign players to them and actual games are played, but I can't delete the leagues or do anything with them.

The filename is "League with ghost minor league.zip". It's uploaded to FTP, I've also put it on my Google Drive.

Ok someone with more knowledge then I will have to help. Did you put a support ticket in for it? Or PM Lukas Berger or Matt Arnold have ask them look at the file.Somehow the MAA is attached to the MLB Double A.I know you can do in and release all players from the teams individually but I dont know if those teams wouyld sign new players or if the message " this league needs more players (0) players on roster" will pop up. I imagine it will since you can not edit the league schedule.

I have a potential workaround
1. make a backup.
2. Make a new MLB double AA.
3. Move all players from existing AA to the new AA.
4. Delete AA. That should take the Single A with it. All players from the Single A would become FA.
i'd wait until the offseason.

Yeah that solved it. i deleted the AA and all players from AA and the A are FA.

While trying to address another issue from your other thread i noticed the MAA is back. Now you can delete it if you want. So deleted AA freed up MAA, i think

How were you able to delete AA? I couldn’t get to the league settings menu to delete it

Are you in commish Mode? Select the Double A 1st from teh drop down then League settings - delete

Your age limits in the OGL are set to 37-43 not 38-70 AAA is 0/0, AA is 0/0 that may be way players younger are in the league. plus i could be wrong on this but they should be able to sign younger FA from other leagues. No plsayer is younger then 37. Only 5 players age 50-52 are in the league.

Yeah i saw that. This isn’t the save file i was having issues with age with. Will post it next time it comes up

MAA was not an option.

Select the MLB Double A and delete it and the MAA will be free. i suggest making a new MLB double a or moving all players up a level. Get rid of roster limits if you have them in place for AAA
