You should make a 1901 quickstart with all the stuff you include in your leagues such as the modified settings and such. That would rule all.

I can. I have webspace. I'm sure the mods sites wouldn't mind as well if you asked them. If you don't wanna use my hosting.

Your site is fine by me. Would it be better if I simmed to 1904 before making the quickstart. This way the early team name changes are done and less tinkering would be needed?

I have a league I am testing right now which includes a AAA minor league. I have a pre-1901 save of it I could use as the template and get it done much quicker for everyone if there is interest.

1904 is fine if you want to go that route. That would probably save some headache for people. Or if you really wanted to be an over achiever you could do a 1901 for the puritans and a 1904 one for the people that don't want the extra hassle.

I think a 1904 start would be a great one to have with the teams in place.

1904 would be cool. I had zero knowledge of the era until I joined an historic league, which became my 2nd favourite online league, until it sadly died. I'd love to play one solo, with someone else doing the hard setup work for me first .

If Jeremy or someone else does not mind hosting it I will make a league that starts in 1901 and sim through to 1904 before doing the quickstart save.

I assume for this one just the standard major league without minors is the best.

Yeah, I think one without any other leagues or minors would be a good selection because that'll let people see how the game works with players developing on the reserve rosters.
