1975 league question

the AI seems to be leaving guys in way too long. I know they threw longer back then but leaving a guy in to throw 150 pitchs while he's setting records for walks in a game (8) seems a bit much. Relief is set to 'often' also.

Sorry if this has been brought up before.

In my fictional league I started with 1973 financials and strategy. I am now the equivalent to 1976 (league yr is 2006) and I have use of MR to normal and CL set to rarely. I also see 150 pitches and 8 BB but from what I have seen that was normal for the mid 70's The only reason they are setting BB records is because the game doesn't count records prior to the start of your league. I believe the BB record for either league is around 12 in 1890's- 1915 time frame. it seems to be only th 1-2 start SP that have 8 BB . I have yet to see a good pitcher do it.
