Schedule request

Hey guys!

Would anyone be willing to set up this schedule for me?

I will give a lot of detail to make it as easy as possible (hopefully)

24 teams (2 subleagues, 4 divisions total ... 6 teams per division)

88 games
- 8 vs divisional opponents (4 at each park)
- 4 vs opposite division in same subleague (2 at each park)
- 2 vs opposite subleague (1 at each park)

Season would start on first friday in May, and go to Sept 15 (approx 138 days long)

All-star game on day 86 (last saturday in July).

Let me know if there is anything you guys need!

Cheers
RLeb

Is it safe to say you don't want any series lasting longer than one game? I'll take a stab at this in the morning.

Since there hasnt been an update I'll put some ideas into this.

I think this would work best if you use 2-game series as the basic unit, with some 4 game series thrown in for the division teams.

Or it can be all 2-game series as well.

As far as interleague, I would suggest one of the two possibilities:
Play every team 2 times from the other league, but make it either 2H or 2A
This isn't perfect because you may play the same team at home twice in a row based on where you finish in the standings.

The second options is for team 1 to play all 6 division 3 teams at home, 2 games, and all division 4 teams, 2 games, on the road.

So year one

Team 1 plays 12 home games vs. division 3 and 12 road games vs division 4
in year two:
Team 1 plays 12 home games vs. division 4 and 12 road games vs division 3

That would rotate back and forth.

The last option is to play division all division 3 teams (4 times 2H/2A) in year one. 0 games vs division 4

In year two, play all the games vs. division 4, and 0 vs. division 3.

Let me know which way you would want this and I can make this for you.

Sorry I was a bit slow to notice the replies.

I would say all 2-game series.

Also,

I think playing all at home in year 1 vs division 3, then all away in year 2 etc etc would be great!

Thanks!

Ill be working on Year 2 of this schedule. Should be done in a few days. I will test it out to make sure the game rotates between the two correctly.

Here are both schedules. A and B, the interleague rotates between them both.

Just place both in your schedule folder and select the "a" schedule. At the end of the year, it will automatically select schedule B.
