Historical Faces

Had some problems with the mode, but now I'm trying to start a historical game with the new patch. I've been experimenting with trying to put a few faces in to make it look a bit better, however I can't get get them to work. I've been using the first_last_Day_Month_Year.png format and have been sizing them at 118x150. Is there some reason or a different way that they're not working?

They should be working. I don't have the latest patch but they've worked in all the previous ones. I'm not sure if they automatically get copied from the quickstart when you start a new game but if you manually create the player photos folder under your saved game it should find them. I've been using the same settings that you are, 118x150 PNG (non-interlaced in case that matters) with files named in the format you describe (i.e. Petr_Klima_23_12_1964.png). The other thing to watch for is special characters. Some of the European players, especially the Czech ones, tend to have accent on their names which need to match the file name.

Incidentally I'll be uploading a photo pack with 1000+ players from the 1990s on the weekend so if that's the era you're looking at you may want to just wait. If you're doing a different era I hope you share them when you're done.

90s was what I was looking for so it's great to hear someone is doing a pack for that era. I'm not particularly serious about making faces, just thought I'd put in a few well-known players to enhance the experience a bit.

Awesome Job! Can't wait for those 90s I am also working on a bunch too. So, I'll be looking to put those up online sometime soon (although work and university have me very busy).

Should logos also be at 118x150, or just the player pictures?

Logos are 150x150.
