MLB Plus Two

I want to do a Major League Baseball (Plus Two) Historical League. In other words, I want to start in 1901 with the MLB setup, but simply add two fictional teams; as if my great-grandfather was a wealthy man and had a team in Yonkers, New York way back when. I'd love to just do one - my team - but I suspect starting with an odd amount of teams would could issues.

That said, two questions:

1. Will in any way start to screw up the automatic expansion/relocation feature in the game? I would not be touching any of the other franchises at all; just adding two.

2. Any other pitfalls you could think of?

I am going to start the league, back it up, and then sim away to see if I notice anything, but being as I am a novice on this sort of stuff, I'd love some tips.

Thanks!

I like thinking about these historical what if franchises. I've not done this exactly, but from the way game seems to work the other teams in the league will be their historical franchise and will move around naturally, so St. Louis AL should become Baltimore at some point, etc...

Your sim, if long enough or started from a certain point should prove this out. Best of luck. Hope you get Babe Ruth.
