Change structure
hi
How can I change the structure of the league in the historical league (ex: 1925-26 one division instead of two) Michel |

With Historical League Edting turned on (in Manager Options), on July 1 (only), go the the League menu, then click on Edit at the bottom of the screen and then the Structure Editor tab. From there you can change the number of divisions and conferences.

The game is definitely on July 1? If Commissioner Mode and League Editing on, that's the only thing I can think of that would prevent the structure editor from being available. I just tried it with a 25-26 start on July 1, 1925, and it worked OK for me.

What about League Evolution and how it works with League Structure.
I just started playing 1972-73 Historical NHL/WHA and I didn't check disable league evolution. So how does it work? Can it be changed every July 1st? What if you go past 1979-80 and you still have the WHA but turn League evolution back on does the WHA then disappear? Also noticed there were 2 Syracuse Blazer teams in the 1972-73 Eastern League(or was it AHL-I have memory loss issues) and doubles of another team but since it's not playable I won't be bothered by it. As for the minor league > It was a workaround/compromise we made to have actual "teams" appear in the games. Some NHL or WHA clubs doubled both had affiliates, so rather than have them both appear on the team, the teams appear separate. |
