Olympics: #8 team goes through qualifying process?
The Final Olympic Qualifier just happened in my game, and Germany, the #8 team in my World Ranking, had to go through it. Only the top seven teams got byes. (presumably an eighth went to 2022 hosts China)
Just as big a problem, there were still only three qualifying groups. How does the 12th team get selected? (I haven't gotten to 2022 yet, so I don't know this answer) |

It should be the 9-to-17 ranked teams and the 3 qualifying group winners. I'll take a look, if the #8 went into it, something's going wrong.

Update: #8 Germany did not get to the Olympics, the highest-rated second-place finisher (Latvia) got in instead.
