Relief Ace

What's the best way to get the AI to treat a reliever as a relief ace?

In the bullpen assignments there's an option to use in high leverage situations, but that only appears to be a secondary role. What other combination of settings produces the best outcome?

all i can think of is that you could make everyone middle relievers and put his secondary role at high leverage

Try using the "use more often" setting for him and the "use less often" setting for your others.

I believe that if you change one of the league settings relative to closer usage, the "stopper" role becomes available.

Or you could play out your games and use your bullpen however you like

I put him on "Middle Relief", "Use More Often", and then put his secondary role on "High-Leverage". Seems to work for me...gives me a Andrew Miller/Chris Devenski-type reliever.
