Okay 25 man roster set day... comments for STL Cardinals. Is there any way to brush up Jordan Hicks ratings? He made the major league team, and currently his ratings here are nowhere near MLB ready.

Secondly Yairo Munoz can play every position except P and C. He has also made the team... while showing a lot of power along with his defence.

J.D. Martinez is listed as 1B, despite not having a rating for it and not having ever played there. When he does play the field this year, Boston apparently plans to play him mostly in LF.

Another note... I am not sure why Jose Martinez given such high defence ratings. He is only being played becuase of his bat. He is pretty awful defensively ala JD Martinez.

In the online roster editor, he only has corner OF experience (very bad). Only reason AI might be listing him there is his defense is awful in the OF.

He's such a crappy Of the ai really doesn't want to play him there and lists him as a 1b. Not really sure what we can do about it except to make him a better OF.

2 things I noticed for next patch...

Rob Refsynder needs to be moved from the Indians to the Rays

Jayson Worth needs to be moved to Seattle and PROBABLY be placed with their Triple A Tacoma team.

For the mods/devs, thanks again for such a great roster set. Curious to know, what do you use as your source for roster moves? I wanted to plug a website I use that is on point for all movement going on, updates every afternoon I think:

Yeah, it's jwisenberg's site. He's actually on the roster team and takes care of all the MLB/MiLB transactions. He's basically a one-man crew and a fantastic asset to the game and the community, responsible for so much of the roster set being so up to date.

I haven't seen him enough yet to have formed my own opinion on him. But looking at his defensive stats on b-r, the only season where he seems to have been truly terrible out there was 2 years ago in 2016. Most other seasons he grades out as only slightly below-average, and in 2015 he was actually slightly above-average. You could maybe bump him up at least to the point where the AI lets him keep his position...

2017 Brewers draft pick RP Karlos Morales mistakenly has stats listed from 2005-2012. Funny to see a 5-12 year old in the minor leagues, though.

Correct the first contract he signed was voided. However, he just signed a new contract on 3/1/18.

no. mlb has him listed as Victor Mascai he seems to primarily go by Coutinho, so I am guessing mlb will change this at some point.

Mark Appel's retirement from the Phillies is listed as an injury instead of being removed from the roster altogether. He shows up on the Disabled List page with "Retired" being his listed injury and being out for 12 months.
