Deseret Boxing Association
The Deseret Boxing Association is an LDS (Mormon) fictional universe set since 1915, and will start with a huge universe with +500 fighters. The savegame will use all the 8 traditional classes.
Each year, X fighters per weight class will be added to the uni, "X" being the number of LDS stakes operating at October on the previous year. The country factor will be the amount of stakes at this nation. Career stages If a beginner goes 5 - 0 or 4 -1 in his first 5 fights he moves up to pre-prime and joins the main group. Otherwise after 8 fights. 7 - 3 or better after 10 fights they go to prime. Otherwise after 12 fights. Losing record anytime after 20 fights, they go to post-prime. Reaching 38-years old, they go to post-prime (if not done so). Everyone but the world champ, top 5, or less than 5 losses, goes to post-prime after 35 fights. Everyone after 45. Once at post-prime they start the Cube's point system with 30 points. Once down to 10 points, they go to end. After 1 year retired any fighter with 80%+ win pct. will restart the point system with 1-5 career points and comes back as follows: 80-84% winning pct.: 1 point 84-88%: 2 points 88-92%: 3 points 92-96%: 4 points 96-100%: 5 points How fighters are booked? Champions must defend every 6 months or be stripped. Fighters also can be injured/suspended as follows: - Each 1 or 2 knockdowns is a month resting automatically. - A KO is a month resting. - A TKO is 2 months. - Each 1 or 2 cuts is a month. - Any DQ'ed fighter will serve a six months suspension. The fighters will be booked by 1d20 rolls. 1-8 chance for next month if beginner or pre-prime, 1-5 if prime or later, add 2 for each additional month. This means that generally not all the top contenders will be available for a bout in any given month. Some observations Regarding the main group, I'll posting details on every fight. Also, I will record my game session to be uploaded to YouTube. The club fights will be 10 rounds, and the main group will be 12 rounds. Title bouts will be 15 rounds.

The week after the October 1914 General Conference, a group of prominent Salt Lake City men was brought by the President Joseph F. Smith to constitute a new professional boxing organization, hoping to create a feasible option for LDS-baptized boxers. The new company was named "Deseret Boxing Association".

In my universe there's a total of 536 fighters and at the end of 1915 I'll create many more, reaching the +1,000 fighter milestone. What a monster of game!!!!
But let me sey some reasons I'm so glad of the creation of Deseret Boxing Association. Aside my LDS membership, I've always dreamt of a totally fictional universe, based in a contemporary setting. Also, I'm so intrigued about a simple but not less important principle: Forget about tomato cans and journeymen - at the DBA everyone has the same chance of climbing the ladder and, ultimately, become world champion. Promoters are only to declare fighter availability, hence their work is to "promote" the fighters to bout booking (imagine the 1d20 rolls as this). To my knowledge, there's never an Inside The Ropes fully-fictional thread, ane it's my hope to deliver an entertaining and interesting experience.
