Trouble Loading a game

I'm playing the version OOTP21. When I try to load a game I've been playing, I get a message that says

"An error occurred while loading the database! Could not load world file."

When I hit OK, I then get the following message:

"A problem occurred while loading the league files. Click ok to save the current files in a folder named 'incident' inside your league folder now and let OOTP try to restore your game to the state of the last previous successful save."

When I hit OK again, I then get the following message:

"OOTP saved the potentially damaged database files inside a folder named 'incident' inside your league folder. Click "ok" to restore the league files, or Cancel to restore the files manually."

When I hit OK again, I get the following message:

"OOTP restored the league files from the auto-save folder. Click OK to try loading your saved game from the last valid save"

When I click ok, I get the following message:

"An error occurred while loading the database! Could not load world file."

So I can not get my game to load. Can you give me any advice? I did notice one thing, that a couple of messages back it said click Cancel to restore the files manually. How would I restore the files manually? Is this an option I could explore?

By the way, when I do hit cancel at that place where it says I can hit cancel and restore the files myself, I get a message that says,

"The loading of the database failed. It is either corrupt of a save-game from an old version."

I would appreciate any advice anyone could give me to restore my game. The problems all seem to be centering on the "world file". Anything I can do to remedy this? Or any suggestions you could give me to restore my files manually. Or any other suggestions to get my game to load would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Let me know if you have any questions that would help you along toward a solution to my problem, or again any advice you have for me in helping to load my game.

Thank you,
