Saves Bleed
I have posted about this previously but my concerns remain and so I am going to bump this issue so that hopefully someone can at least take a look at it and, if not fix it in a patch or a future version, at least allay my concerns somewhat.
Ever since 24 was released with its new (and fantastic, aside from this problem) screen setup options, I have been seeing this more and more. I, like many OOTP users, have multiple saves operating on the same version of the game. What is happening is that, if I switch from one to another, settings from the one I have left seem to bleed into the one I have switched to. For example, I just switched as described. The team home page of the newly-opened save looks like this on first opening: ![]() Problem is, the colours for this club should look like this: ![]() In the first screenshot, the newly-opened save has brought the settings from the recently-closed one across. A small, cosmetic issue on the surface, that I'll grant, and easily remedied by quickly going into the settings page and coming out again. Still, it shouldn't be happening and has wider ramifications that I believe all stem from the same problem, which I believe is the game treating local settings as global ones. The main bugbear for me is how the various screen setups you have applied simply don't hold if you go from one save to another and that means having to spend time redoing them, EG: ![]() To be forced to do this every time you move between saves is incredibly annoying and, I have to believe, completely unnecessary. What concerns me as much, if not more, is what effect this "bleed" is having behind the scenes. Who's to say other settings that I haven't noticed or under the hood ones I can't see such as LTMs aren't being glitched? I even suspect this might be responsible for why player ratings seem to jump about when you leave and enter saves, as has been reported around the boards and I have seen for myself. So, as I said, I'd dearly love one of the devs to hop on here and at least give me their quick thoughts on the validity of my concerns. In an ideal world, I'd like this fixed at some point. It is killing my UE with this otherwise magnificent product. Many thanks G

That should be an easy fix. I'll look at this for OOTP 25, thanks!

So apparently this didn't get a look-in for v25 after all. An absolute deal-breaker for me. So annoying.

Revisiting this with some updated info / evidence supporting my concerns that this is an issue far broader than just the screen setup.
Here are the ratings for my pitching staff after I went into a save then came out and went into a different save and then went back into the first one again. This is on v24. ![]() Some of the variance here is HUGE, in the order of 15%. Obviously it doesn't 100% corroborate my suspicions of this bleeding of one save into another but it clearly shows there is an issue and I still believe it has at least something to do with what's going on. The fatigue changes are interesting in addition to the scouting variances. I wonder what the screen would have showed if you had closed out the game, reopened it (and by closing, I mean the entire program) and then reentered the game. Which side, left or right, would be in that clean, reopened game.
