Owner Budget Control

I'm considering starting a new league and turning the owner controls budget feature off and have my entire revenue available for a change. I'm curious to hear from others about their experience using this and if they like it or if they prefer owner control.

On a separate note, if I enjoy the feature, will it make a significant change in an already existing league? I have a good fictional league running at the moment but do not want to mess up too much by drastically changing the finances.

Create a backup save then sim a couple years as a test. If it works go back to the save and institute it for real.

what does turning the owner controls budget off mean? does it give you more money for free agents and extensions?
