Importing Template from previous version

Is it possible to import a template from a previous version? I play a highly customised game, and I created a template in OOTP20 which is exactly how I like t start it, otherwise it's hours of set up. Is there a way to take that template from OOTP 20 and import it into OOTP 21?

I don't believe you can directly import it but...

Granted I don't know a ton about templates but maybe this'll do the job? Are quickstarts the same as templates?

In v20 create a game from the quickstart/template, import that game into v21 and then create a quickstart/template from the game?

How do you actually import the template? Just copy everything in the template file and paste across?

Thanks to all, I did as byzeil suggested, started a game in ootp 20 based off the template, imported the game into ootp21, saved that game as a template, good to go. Thanks again for your help.

Yeah basically. Every year I copy over the following folders. Ballcaps, ballparks, fg_files, jerseys, logos, photos, and then I'll take any world templates and copy them into the latest version.
