Good game
This was the best game yet for my team - maybe for any team.
I got 10,310 PP via achievements for this game: Pounding = 5000 (total runs scored) Hot Bat = 3500 (6 hits by Nava) Plate the Runners = 500 (9 RBI by Cabrera) Contact Inning, silver = 400 (7 hits in 9th inning) Double digits = 300 (10 runs in 9th inning) Touch the Plate x 3 = 270 (4 runs scored by Molina, Cabrera, Nava) All Hits = 150 (starting lineup all had a hit) Hit Machine x 4 = 100 (4 hits by Molina, Albies, Cabrera, Rodgers) Contact Inning, bronze = 50 (7 hits in 8th inning) Team Effort = 40 (7 runs scored in 8th inning) Time to shop!! |

FYI... Austin Barnes and Justin Upton (two position players) pitched the 9th inning for Bobble.
So... do I buy 2 gold packs, 10 regular packs, or a couple of diamond players at auction? I need starting pitching. I think my offense is ok. |

If there are any Diamond SPs up for auction, I would snatch them up. Decent SPs seem to be in demand league-wide.

I did some quick analysis. If you buy 5 regular packs you have a 53% chance of pulling at least 1 gold and a 26% chance of pulling at least 1 diamond.
If you buy a gold pack you have a 100% chance of pulling a gold and 6% chance of pulling a diamond. and just for fun the difference in perfect from 1 pack to 5 packs is .5% in 1 pack and 3% for 5 packs |

I think my best strategy is to buy packs today, selling the excess cards when the PP store goes online and auction prices presumably rise (at least temporarily). Besides, a pack is my only shot at getting a perfect card - which could double my money. So in other words, put it all on black.

Interesting. It makes me wonder if two people could agree to exploit PT by agreeing to take turns using position players to pitch so that they could produce a gargantuan run total. I guess it'd be obvious, if they did. But never put it past someone to try it.

Oh, and the AI would automatically set up your team if you left certain spots blank intentionally. |

Two diamond pitchers would cost more than 10k, if they were available. Three gold pitchers are possible for 10k, and they would be my three best starters.

Couldn't you make all of your pitchers position players (for just a day)? And then make several of your position players pitchers? I don't know.

Not a cheater, but I used the report team option this morning to protest a team name and logo that was just gross and disgusting. We will see how that goes.
