That's gotta be painful, but it's also kind of amusing. Sorry!

Since your team did something different each year in the playoffs, maybe they'll do something different again this year, like win it all?

Corsairs continue on to the sub-league series with a shocking sweep of the Moline Plowboys, a team that finished first in the same division with 104 wins and went 15-4 against the Corsairs during the regular season.
Scores were 6-5, 8-5 & 6-3 with S. Doolittle, C. Green and P. Niekro getting the wins and Tony Gwynn Sr. receiving the MVP.

Reavers are off for their golf tourneys after getting swept by the Caroulmanieu Carouls 3-1, 7-3, 9-3 with J. Bunning, B. Ojeda and S. Maglie taking the losses. The second best offense with 813 runs scored puts up only 7 in the series. D. Mattingly of the Carouls wins the series MVP. Best of luck to the Carouls the rest of the way!

Game 2 was a good one. The Martinez vs. Martinez matchup was quite the Dennis Duel. My Flames won 3-2. Now we’ll head to Manila to continue this Thrilla of a series.

Looks like Game 3 will be Mitch Keller vs. Mitch Keller. Both Kellers are 1-0, 1.29 in the postseason. Is this baseball or the Twilight Zone?

Corsairs drop game 1 to the Fall River Patriots, a team we've shared leagues with previously and always admired their effectiveness. The game featured four lead changes and ended 6-5 in the Patriots favor.
Game 2 goes to the Patriots as K. Kela blows a two run lead on run scoring singles by B. Posey & A. Simmons in the bottom of the ninth.
Corsairs take game 3 at home in a comeback win powered by H. Aaron and R. Kiner homeruns in the 8th inning.
Game 4 goes to the Patriots 9-5, they come back from a 5-1 deficit to close the win with a five run ninth inning.
Corsairs win game 5 to cut the deficit to 3-2, M. Machado strokes an RBI single in the seventh to put the Corsairs over the top.
Fall River wins game 6 by a score of 8-1 to take the sub-league series.
Best of luck to Fall River Patriots in the championship series.

Second season my unstoppable regular season 2nd team bottle it in the playoffs which results in me in staying at S305 for another season.

2026 - 110-52 (Lost DS 3-2)
2027 - 107-55 (Lost DS 3-1)

This season I lose to an 89 win team who rolled out Eddie Lopat (67) and CC Sabathia (63) as SP's and series MVP Mitch Haniger. Roy Halliday who is likely going to win Cy Young for me went 20-3 and then allowed 6 ER in 2 innings in Game 4.

I am now getting my wallet out in anger.....

Oh god and my 1st Team lost in the WC in D368 after Sean Doolittle blows a 3-1 lead by giving up a grand slam to Rich Aurila in the 9th.

The Hoggs will stay in Gold for at least another season, beaten in Game 5 of the Division Series 8-7 by the Ryu Draganov. An error by Oquendo led to 2 unearned runs, which proved to be the difference, in the end.

By game time, the pitching matchup had changed. My Mitch Keller pitched a strong 6 innings, allowing 2 runs, but Manila’s MadBum pitched a CG shutout, allowing me just 4 hits.

I now lead the series 2-1. As of this moment, I have Miles Mikolas scheduled to start against Mitch Keller in Game 3. Mikolas was 2-0 with a 2.00 ERA against the Envelopes during the regular season. I was able to score a couple more runs off of Keller during the year but he won his only decision against me.

Here’s hoping I can get a road win and put myself in great position to take the series.

Mikolas got rocked and I lost 8-2.

Game 5 is a rematch of game 1, my Craig Swan vs. Manila’s Roger Clemens.

I really want to get a road win here and come back home with a lead.

On the regular season, I went 63-18 on the road. You would think I could go 1-2 in this series.

Game 5 was a wild one!
Top of the 4th inning with one out, my Miguel’s andujar took Clemens deep for a 1-0 lead.
The next batter was Ross Youngs.Clemens drilled him. Youngs took exception to being hit and charged the mound. Both players were ejected.
I got another run in the 8th on an error and a sacrifice fly.
I won the game 2-0 and Craig Swan was brilliant again.
I’m headed home needing one win to make it to the Championships!

Trenton finishes last in the division, but I think we squeaked by and will be in silver again.

Bears got hot the last part of the season and ended up missing the last wild card by 1.5 games.

It’s going to game 7.

Wilbur Wood pitcher 8 great innings Manila and beat Dennis Martinez in a 4-1 game.

It looks like it’s going to come down to Dennis Martinez for the Envelopes vs. Mitch Keller for the Flames.

THE FLAMES WIN THE PENNANT! THE FLAMES WIN THE PENNANT!

With the first two men out in the bottom of the 10th inning, Max Muncy walked and JT Realmuto singles to set up the walk-off RBI single by Ross Youngs to send Peoria to the Bronze Championships!

What a phenomenal series!

Now I have to face the Houston Problems. They had 1 more win than me on the season with 111.

Not off to a great start in the championship series. I’m down 2-0, but I’m headed home.

Craig Swan got roughed up in game 1, 5-2 and Dennis Martinez pitched well but Clemens was better in a 2-0 loss.

Time to take care of business back in Peoria.

It’s not over yet! Max Muncy and Wilson Ramos each homered in an 11-4 win to keep the Flames alive!

The Flames lose 3-2 in game 5. It was a heck of a run. It’s the first time I had a team make it past the Division Series. I would have loved to get the trophy but I’m excited I was able to get this close.

Holy ****. My 3rd team is a super experimental team that I flip the roster on constantly. If was an all Future Legends team. Then it was an all LH/SH batters + opener strategy team. And now it's an all speed + all RH SP + Specialist Relievers team. And I won my Gold League fairly easily. This is after a 12-15 start while I was flipping the roster. Part of this success is probably owed to my still prominently non-RH lineup and my extreme LH park. The roster below shouldn't have won a league, but it's all about zigging when everyone else is zagging. And Patrick Corbin being an unreal pseudo-closer. After that insane regular season, he gave up 0 hits in 4 playoff appearances.

I'm looking forward to seeing what I can do if I keep to the plan but upgrade where I can. All credit goes to Joehart who last season almost won my Perfect League with a base-stealing team. He inspired my latest and most successful roster flip.

The way you've set up your bullpen has given me a lightbulb moment. I've been wondering how to prioritize bullpen roles. If I set guys to specialist first, middle relief second, then they usually get into very few games. Looks like the trick is to set the *entire* bullpen to specialists first, middle relief, closer, etc second, not just one or two guys. Thanks!
