The owner of my team is unhappy. Why?

I'm currently managing the Seattle Mariners. I don't have a lot of experience playing as a GM, so I am just handing the managing duties. My team is currently in 1st place with a 10 - 4 record - the best in the AL. My team batting average is fair (.255 - 7th in the AL), as well as the pitching (3.94 - 5th in AL). Yet, my owner is unhappy. Why? His patience is demanding, so is that the reason? I checked my team chemistry, and my bench coach says it's too early to tell, but no players have any problems with the others. Should I be worried that the owner is unhappy, even though the team is doing well in terms of its win-loss record?

No, you should not worry yet. He is demanding, so he is likely to stay annoyed even when things are going well. Demanding bosses don't usually run around with a smile on their face. They expect good results, so no reason to be happy about it. That doesn't mean you will be fired.

He will get unhappy too if you're over budget but as Orcin says it might just be in his nature.
