Historical league line up issue.
Ok I'm new and am having a problem with every league that I start. I start a historical league 1888 and I GM/Manage one of the teams. In the middle of the 1st season the program says that the Simulation can not be continued. That team Akron A League (hypothetical) has an incomplete lineup. So I go to Akron's line up and they have only 8 players. For some reason I can not seem to add any players or Free Agents to their line up. Hopefully this is something easy that I am over looking. Thank You for your time.

I only play 1901 and later so I seldom see this problem but I think you should be able to select (pull up) another player and near the top on right hand side hit the edit tab, then half way down on the left side select the league and team that needs the player. That player will then appear on the new team. Hope that helps.

you can allow incomplete minor leagues (ie allow ghost players). not at my game, so can't recall the exact screen it's on. think it's the historical tab, but not certain.
or you can be in commish mode, and have the game auto fill the roster with fictional players. or if you have any free agents, you can just place them on that short roster, also must be in gm mode. that function is on the player profile, left side of the screen, one of the boxes mentions League in it, can't recall exact verbiage though. Click on the league you want to put player, then next box is to place him on the team within that league. hopefully someone is at their game and can fill in the details on HOW TO do the above. If not, shoot me a PM and tomorrow morning i'll try to sort it out, when i can get to my game and see which screens you need to visit. the easiest, and to keep your Major League teams historical, is to allow ghost players (ie allow incomplete minor league rosters). your rosters will look incomplete still, but Joe Unknowns will be in line-ups and pitching etc, good luck.

There are no minor league players available to fill out such rosters.in year 1. You could unretire everybody under age 30 or so or wait a few years and the game will give you some ex-major leaguers you could use.
