"NOTE: Player and team names are purely cosmetic and will not be used" What if I want that?!??!

I want to be able to change the names of the player in a mass import...how do I do this?

main League Settings page.

various export funtions, the one you want is the player export. it will be a format of your choice -> csv, ms access etc.

use access or a spreadsheet to edit... maybe a nicer text reader-- ie not notepad.exe.

notepad++ might format it in an easily read manner? stick to excel/calc or something like ms access.

Even though it says it, it still imports with edits.

The only thing you can NOT change is the PlayerID number. You can replace everything else but must keep the playerID. You can add fictitious players in game and export to Excel and then change anything on Thousands of players. A hint that I'll share to help you out is that the QS always keep the same PlayerID and the Standard Game changes PlayerID every update.

Thank you, I will try it again tonight...that said I don't believe it worked last time.

I will try on my PC this time as well, perhaps it was a macOS problem..? Who knows.

you also have to worry about encoding when you save after editting an exported file.

i forget which off the top of my head. you'll know if you get some funky characters visible.
