The game was tight until David Holmberg plunked Sergio Uribe and Sergio decided it was intentional and mindlessly charged the mound. Ejections ensued and the game slipped away from the Jays.

Houston won 6-4.

Mike Bybee homered for Toronto.

David Holmberg has been suspended unfairly for six games. (Also known as the rest of the season.)

Trevor Cahill, who was playing in New Hampshire, has decided to retire.

Cahill pitched in the majors for 11 years, for 7 different teams, including the Jays back in 2019. He was an All-Star in 2010 and won a Gold Glove in 2015.

Andrew Brown, also with New Hampshire, also decided to retire. Brown played for parts of 8 seasons in the bigs, mostly with the Mets.
